Chapter 4 – The Common Controls

UPDATED Information about this video:

• The Quantize feature has had some enhancements, but these will be discussed in a later chapter.
• The Multi-Channel View button has changed to the Show Text (Lyrics/Annotations) checkbox. When enabled, it will add the current text of lyrics and annotations to the current display. You can’t edit the text here, it’s just shown to help you more easily find specific points in time. This is simpler than the previous implementation, especially since bar and beat numbers are now always visible in points lists, so it’s easy to find specific bars and beats.
• The Lock Channel control is now a simple checkbox, instead of a graphical button.
